Product

Stainless steel metal fiber

Short Description:

Stainless steel fiber is manufactured through a complex process including surface treatment, bundling, drawing, heat treatment, and electrolytic separation.

Stainless steel metal fiber provide excellent shielding against static electricity in a wide range of applications. They are widely used in the textile industry (spun yarn), filtration (sintered felt or needle-punched felt) and other industries. Stainless steel fiber are utilized for producing pure spinning yarn from stainless steel fibers, and creating blended yarn with traditional textile fibers (such as cotton, polyester, or wool) to enhance the anti-static, conductive, and high-strength properties of the yarn.

Key Characteristics of Stainless Steel Fiber:

APPLICATION

1. Conductivity: Stainless steel fibers are electrically conductive, making them suitable for applications such as anti-static fabrics, electromagnetic shielding, and smart textiles.

2. Strength and Durability: These fibers enhance strength and abrasion resistance in the yarn.

3. Heat Resistance: Stainless steel fibers can withstand high temperatures, making them ideal for protective clothing.

4. Corrosion Resistance: They are resistant to rust and corrosion, ensuring long-term durability.

5. Lightweight: Despite their metallic nature, stainless steel fibers are lightweight and can be easily blended or spun with other fibers.

Stainless steel metal fiber applications

EMI Shielding or Anti-Static Yarns
Stainless steel metal fibers blended with natural or synthetic fibers create an efficient, conductive medium with anti-static and EMI shielding properties. The mix is flexible and lightweight.

Protective Clothing
Your protective textiles may require a special yarn that provides anti-static protection. Our stainless steel metal fibers perform well in the most extreme environments, such as oil and petroleum installations.

Ton Bags
Prevents potentially dangerous discharges caused by electrostatic buildup while filling and emptying the bags.

EMI Shielding Fabric and Sewing Yarn
Protects against high levels of EMI.

Floor Coverings and Upholstery
Durable and wear-resistant, prevents electrostatic charge buildup caused by friction.

Filter Media
Provides excellent electrical conductivity to felt or woven fabric, preventing harmful discharges.
